The legend of Spud Murphy

In this superb story, two unfortunate boys named Will and Marty are forced to join the library club with a Librarian named Spud Murphy.  I know what you're thinking "what's so bad about the library club?".  Well you haven't heard the legends of a librarian with a potato spud gun.  The legends of a librarian called SPUD MURPHY!   When Will broke a rule and accidentally gave himself away his courage gets him a senior library card.
